Peter Coffin will retire as president of Breckinridge Capital Advisors, effective June 30, 2024, and become executive chair.
Ognjen "Oggie" Sosa, who has served as chief investment officer since June 2021, will move into the newly created role of chief executive officer, said a Dec. 19 release.
Anthony Greco, chief operating officer since 2016, will assume the additional role of president, reporting to Sosa.
As executive chair, Coffin will chair the firm's board of directors and advise on key strategic initiatives. Coffin founded Breckinridge in 1993.
As CEO, Sosa will formulate, guide and maintain the firm's strategic plan, determining the firms overall direction and business strategy.
In addition, Matt Buscone and Jeff Glenn, currently co-heads of portfolio management, will also become co-chief investment officers. Buscone will expand his responsibilities to include oversight and management of municipal bond trading and credit research teams. Meanwhile, Glenn will broaden his current role to include management of the corporate credit research team along with oversight of the firm's newly launched equity strategies.
Buscone and Glenn will also report to Sosa.
Breckinridge had more than $44 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 30, 2023.
