Neal Chansky was named global head of consultant relations for Bank of New York Mellon's asset-servicing business, a spokeswoman said in an email.
It is a new position. He will report to Christine Gill, head of commercial development for asset servicing.
Mr. Chansky was previously managing director, investment operations, at consulting firm Olmstead Associates. Officials at that firm could not be immediately reached for further information.
As of Sept. 30, BNY Mellon had a total of $37.3 trillion in assets under custody and/or administration.
