Richard Parkin was named head of retirement for BNY Mellon Investment Management EMEA, the asset manager said Monday in a news release.
It is a new position for the London-based division of BNY Mellon Investment Management, with $1.8 trillion in assets under management. Mr. Parkin will report to Michael Beveridge, head of U.K. intermediary distribution at BNY Mellon IM.
Mr. Parkin is founder of Richard Parkin Consulting, an independent consultancy for asset managers and pension providers launched in 2018. Before that he held several roles at Fidelity International, the news release said.
Mr. Parkin will work on intermediary and retail retirement initiatives within BNY Mellon IM's investment firms, the release said.
