Kristina Church was named head of responsible strategy at BNY Mellon Investment Management.
It is a new position, spokeswoman Nina Jaksic said. Based in London, Ms. Church will work with both BNY Mellon's money management subsidiaries as well as the parent company regarding their responsible and sustainable investment strategies, providing input on product development in those strategies, contributing to various public policy initiatives and working with clients as well, a news release said.
Ms. Church, who joined BNY Mellon on Wednesday, reports to Gerald Rehn, head of international product and governance at BNY Mellon IM.
She was previously head of sustainable solutions at Lombard Odier Investment Managers. Officials there could not be immediately reached for further information.
As of June 30, BNY Mellon IM had $2.3 trillion in assets under management.
