Geoff Dailey was named head of U.S. equities at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Based in Boston, Mr. Dailey will succeed Pamela Woo following her retirement at the end of June, a spokeswoman said in an email. Until then, he will serve as deputy head of U.S. equities, a new position. He will not be replaced in that role upon his ascension to the head position, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. Dailey will remain lead portfolio manager for the firm's U.S. midcap equity strategy. He is also currently co-portfolio manager of the U.S. small-cap equity strategy with portfolio manager Christian Fay and will take the lead portfolio manager of the latter strategy when he succeeds Ms. Woo.
Mr. Fay is the lead portfolio manager of the U.S. growth equity strategy, the spokeswoman said.
BNP Paribas Asset Management has €488 billion ($528.5 billion) in assets under management.
