Daniel Klein was named global head of client services at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Mr. Klein, currently CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management USA, will begin his Paris-based role on Jan. 1, according to a news release Monday.
He will report to Sandro Pierri, head of the global client group.
The money manager announced in November that Johanna Lasker would take on Mr. Klein's current role in New York on Jan. 1 upon his return to Europe. She is currently head of official institutions for BNP Paribas Asset Management and will retain the title upon becoming CEO of the USA unit in 2021.
In his new role, Mr. Klein will be responsible for "enhancing" the money manager's client services across all regions, the news release said.
BNP Paribas Asset Management is the asset management arm of BNP Paribas. The unit had €445 billion ($520.9 billion) in assets, as of Sept. 30.
