Troy Ludgood was named global head of fixed income at BMO Global Asset Management.
He replaces Janelle E. Woodward, who left BMO Global to join money manager MacKay Shields as its president on Sept. 15.
Mr. Ludgood joined the Bank of Montreal money management subsidiary Tuesday and reports to Richard Watts, global chief investment officer of BMO Global Asset Management, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Mr. Ludgood was previously in a part-time role as senior fixed-income strategist at Wells Fargo Asset Management. Robert W. Julavits, Wells Fargo spokesman, did not provide further information.
