Vini Letteri was named a senior managing director within the global growth equity investing business at Blackstone Group, company spokesman Matt Anderson confirmed in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Letteri will oversee Blackstone Growth's financial services. He will be based in San Francisco and report to Jon Korngold, global head of Blackstone Growth.
Mr. Letteri was a managing director within the technology/media/telecom growth equity team at KKR. His responsibilities have been assumed by Jake Heller and Rob Salvagno, co-heads of KKR’s Next Generation Technology Growth strategy in the Americas, a company spokesman confirmed.
