Christina Feng was named senior managing director at Blackstone Group.
Based in San Francisco, Ms. Feng will focus on technology investing for the alternative money manager's tactical opportunities group, and also work with GSO Capital Partners, Blackstone's credit business, according to a news release Monday.
Ms. Feng previously was a director, corporate development Amazon Web Services. According to the Blackstone news release, she led data and analytics mergers and acquisitions for AWS, an Amazon.com subsidiary.
Blackstone Group had $564.3 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
Spokesman Matthew Anderson could not immediately provide further information.
