T. Williams Roberts III, partner and co-CEO of GW&K Investment Management, will retire on Dec. 31, said a news release issued on April 15.
In accordance with the firm’s succession plans, Thomas F.X. Powers, currently partner and co-CEO, will continue as the firm’s sole CEO.
Roberts initially joined GW&K in 1994 as a vice president and director of operations, before advancing to co-president in 2006 and later being named co-CEO with Powers on July 1, 2022, the release noted.
As co-CEO, Roberts had responsibility for GW&K’s business operations, overseeing finance, compliance, information technology, operations, human resources and administration functions.
As of March 31, GW&K had $51.6 billion in assets under management.
