Robert McKillop was named chief executive officer for U.K. and Europe for BennBridge, the asset manager said Wednesday in a news release.
BennBridge, part of the BFM Group, has £9.8 billion ($12.3 billion) as of April 30, a spokesman said in an email.
Mr. McKillop started in his new role Wednesday. He is based in London, and will report to Craig Bingham, global CEO of the BFM Group.
Before BennBridge, Mr McKillop was global head of product and client solutions at abrdn. Abrdn spokeswoman Andrea Ward said in an email that Mr. McKillop was not directly replaced. His position was eliminated as part of a restructuring that created a single product function incorporating strategy, development, management and governance across all asset classes, led by Emily Smart, global head of product for public markets.
