Brooke Harlow was named chief global affairs officer at Balyasny Asset Management, according to a biography on the firm's website.
It is a new position, according to an internal company announcement.
Ms. Harlow is responsible for "leading the firm's global government relations, vendor partnerships philanthropy, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability initiatives," the website said.
She was previously chief commercial officer at Managed Funds Association, where she "led their global business development initiatives which included corporate strategy, revenue growth, membership, and investor relations," her biography added.
