Boutaina Deixonne was named head of euro investment grade and high yield, at AXA Investment Managers, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Ms. Deixonne has replaced Ismael Lecanu, who said in a LinkedIn message he is joining DNCA Investments on June 26, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers. DNCA has €28.2 billion ($30.5 billion) in assets.
Mr. Lecanu, who is based in Paris, said he will build a credit franchise at DNCA focused on flexible/total return. AXA portfolio manager Jean Marc Frelet is moving over with Mr. Lecanu to DNCA.
A spokeswoman could not be reached to provide further details.
Ms. Deixonne, who is based in Paris, reports to Marion Le Morhedec, global head of fixed income at AXA IM.
Ms. Deixonne has previously worked as a senior portfolio manager in the team, covering euro and global credit for over 14 years.
"Boutaina is an experienced and well-recognized professional, we are delighted to see her take on this new role and continue to promote internal talents. She will be instrumental to further develop our credit expertise and continue to draw on our impressive resources in euro credit and fixed income more broadly, to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients," Ms. Le Morhedec said in a news release.
AXA IM has over €210 billion of assets under management in credit.
