Florian Bezault was named head of AXA Investment Managers Americas.
He replaces Marcello Arona, who became CEO of AXA Investment Managers U.K. and AXA Investment Managers GS effective April 1, according to a news release Wednesday.
Mr. Bezault, who was also named regional chief financial officer, Americas, has been with various AXA Group subsidiaries since 2008, the news release said. He was most recently chief financial officer of Maestro Health following AXA’s acquisition of that company, a spokeswoman said in an email.
As of March 31, AXA Investment Managers had €869 billion ($1 trillion) in assets under management.
