Marion Le Morhedec was named global head of fixed income at AXA Investment Managers, a spokesman confirmed.
The firm also named Christophe Herpet as deputy head of fixed income and global head of fixed income for AXA Group.
The roles are new and based in Paris.
Ms. Le Morhedec leads the manager's global fixed income business, which has €541 billion ($655 billion) in assets under management. She reports to Hans Stoter, global head of AXA IM core.
She was head of active fixed income for Europe and Asia, and retains these responsibilities.
Mr. Herpet reports to Ms. Le Morhedec. He was global head of AXA fixed income and buy and maintain, and also retains those responsibilities.
"The new organization of our fixed income team enables us to better capture and answer client demand for truly global, conviction-led and ESG embedded fixed income capabilities," Mr. Stoter said in a news release. "I am convinced that Marion's indisputable leadership skills and deep expertise in fixed income, alongside Christophe's robust experience in managing the AXA Group's assets, will not only generate value for clients but also for our internal teams."
