Jerome Broustra has been appointed as head of global rates at AXA Investment Managers, effective immediately, according to a Feb. 26 news release.
Based in Paris, Broustra reports to Marion le Morhedec, the global head of fixed income and a member of AXA IM's management board. AXA IM has approximately €844 billion ($910.2 billion) in assets under management.
In his new role, Broustra will be responsible for global rates strategies for institutional and third-party clients. He will also oversee AXA IM's inflation investment capabilities, as well as the fixed income business in Switzerland and Japan.
"I am delighted with the appointment of Jerome, who has long contributed to the success of AXA IM's fixed income expertise," Le Morhedec said in the release. "His extensive business development experience and proven track record in managing large aggregate portfolios is a key asset for us."
Broustra has been with AXA IM since 2004, in roles including deputy head of product specialists and solutions, and until January as head of investments specialists fixed income and multiasset solutions.
AXA IM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
