Greg Jones was named head of distribution at Artemis Investment Management, a spokesman said.
Mr. Jones is replacing Jasper Berens, who left the firm. Details of Mr. Berens' departure are not known.
"Greg's reputation and record speak for themselves. We are confident that, leading our distribution team and working with the whole business, he will help us to grow and continue to meet our clients' needs in the U.K., Europe and beyond," Mark Murray, senior partner at Artemis, said in a news release.
Mr. Jones previously was head of distribution at Janus Henderson Investors for Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions. His responsibilities were absorbed by the global distribution leadership team led by Suzanne Cain, global head of distribution, a spokeswoman confirmed.
