Arrow Global acquired Blue Current Capital, an ESG manager focused on electric vehicle charging hubs, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Terms of the deal, which closed on June 28, were not disclosed.
The acquisition will allow Arrow to access a rapidly growing market as an early adopter in the delivery of scaled EV charging infrastructure designed for major fleet operators, it said Thursday. Blue Current Capital will sit alongside Arrow's real estate development platform, Eagle Street Partners.
"The acquisition of BCC fortifies our capabilities in the logistics sector and allows us to seize early-mover advantage in this high-growth, ESG-aligned investment arena," Craig Hawthorne, director investments at Arrow Global, said in a joint news release Thursday.
Mr. Hawthorne added that the firm will expand in the U.K. and Ireland and the rest of Europe with the deal.
Nickolas Blackburn, co-CEO of Blue Current Capital, added in the release: "Our partnership with Arrow provides the support needed to expand this mission-critical infrastructure and ensures fleet operators can meet their electrification targets, paving the way for a greener future for logistics."
Arrow Global has around €70 billion ($76.3 billion) in third-party assets under management.
