Jana Haines was named chief strategy officer at ARK Investment Management.
Ms. Haines, who joined ARK on March 1, will work with the money manager's existing team to develop new business opportunities, said a news release Tuesday.
She was previously managing director and head of index products, Americas and EMEA, and global head of fixed-income indexes at MSCI. Samuel Wang, MSCI spokesman, could not be immediately reached.
ARK Investment Management has $58.2 billion in assets under management.
An ARK spokeswoman could not immediately provide further information.
