Craig Farr was named senior partner at Apollo Global Management.
In the new position, Mr. Farr will lead the alternative money manager's capital solutions activities, a spokeswoman confirmed in an email Monday. He will report to Scott Kleinman and Jim Zeltner, co-presidents of Apollo.
Mr. Farr will lead Apollo's "continued expansion in front-end origination, structuring and distribution to ensure that Apollo's broad capital base is being effectively delivered to borrowers in a solutions-oriented manner," a news release said Monday.
Mr. Farr most recently served as a senior adviser to KKR & Co. until 2019. Before then, he had served as KKR's head of credit and capital markets until 2015.
As of March 31, Apollo Global Management had about $461 billion in assets under management.
