Rina Joshi joined Apollo Global Management on Monday as a managing director, an Apollo spokesman said in an email.
In the new position, Ms. Joshi focuses on distressed investments in Apollo's global corporate credit business. Ms. Joshi had been a managing director at hedge fund PointState Capital. PointState Capital executives could not be immediately reached seeking information on Ms. Joshi's replacement.
Last month, Tiffany Gallo joined Apollo as a managing director on the firm's debt capital markets team while Managing Director Natalia Tsitoura joined Apollo to lead its European direct origination team earlier this year.
Apollo Global had $315.5 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
