Marc Becker and Joanna Reiss were named co-leads of impact at Apollo Global Management.
They are newly created positions, the result of Apollo's formation of its new impact investing group, a news release said Tuesday.
Mr. Becker, a senior partner with Apollo Global Management, has previously overseen Apollo's private equity investing efforts in sectors including business services, financial services and real estate services.
Ms. Reiss, also named a partner at Apollo, was previously founding partner at Cornell Capital. A Cornell Capital spokesman could not be immediately reached for further information.
As of June 30, Apollo Global Management had $414 billion in assets under management.
