Amundi made two appointments to its research division, Amundi Institute.
Anna Rosenberg joined as head of geopolitics on Oct. 14. She was co-founder and senior partner at Signum Global Advisors, responsible for the advisory firm's predictive research output focused on Europe, an Amundi release said. Spokesmen at Signum could not immediately be reached for comment.
Mahmood Pradhan will join Jan. 2 as head of global macroeconomics. He will join from the International Monetary Fund where he was deputy director, European department.
Ms. Rosenberg and Mr. Pradhan will report to Monica Defend, head of Amundi Institute.
The division brings together money manager Amundi's research, market strategy and asset allocation advisory activities. The institute's aim is to strengthen advice, training and ongoing dialogue with all investors on economic, financial, geopolitical, societal and environmental issues.
Amundi has €1.92 trillion ($1.87 trillion) in assets under management.
