Alexander Preininger was named head of institutional clients coverage at Amundi, effective Monday, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Preininger replaced Thierry Ancona in the role. Mr. Ancona, who now serves as head of third-party distribution, replaced Christian Pellis. Mr. Pellis was appointed CEO of Amundi in Germany in December.
Mr. Preininger is focused on institutional clients. He joined Amundi from Robeco where he was head of institutional coverage Europe, the Middle East and Africa since February 2019. Details of his replacement could not be learned.
Amundi had €1.79 trillion ($2.1 trillion) in assets under management as of June 30.
