Allspring Global Investments has expanded its U.S. distribution team by adding Kristin Carcio as head of global portfolio strategy, Matt Soifer as head of institutional and Tony Svach as head of intermediary sales, a spokesperson for the firm confirmed.
The three new hires bring the total number of senior leaders on Allspring's U.S. distribution team to six. All three will report to John Moninger, head of U.S. distribution.
Carcio, who was previously at Morgan Stanley, is taking on a new position at Allspring.
Soifer joins from Blackrock and is replacing Allspring's previous head of institutional, Susan Reynes, who retired earlier this year.
Svach, who also joins from BlackRock, is replacing Rene Picazo.
Formerly known as Wells Fargo Asset Management, Allspring is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based asset management firm with $485 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
