Anita Rausch was named to the new position of global head of ETF capital markets at AllianceBernstein, the company said in a news release Thursday.
She will be joining the firm's ETF senior leadership team, and will help shape the ETF program's global strategy while leading the firm's day-to-day ETF capital markets function, according to the release.
Ms. Rausch was head of capital markets in the U.S. for WisdomTree Investments, a WisdomTree spokeswoman said Friday. She brings more than 25 years of industry experience and ETF expertise to the new position, AllianceBernstein's release said.
In February, AllianceBernstein announced that Noel Archard was joining the firm as global head of ETFs and portfolio solutions, and that it planned to build a global ETF business led by him, with its initial set of active ETF offerings planned for later in the year in the U.S. Mr. Archard came from State Street Global Advisors, where he had been global head of product, AB said in a February news release.
AllianceBernstein plans to offer the AB Ultra Short Income ETF and the AB Tax-Aware Short Duration ETF, according to a registration statement filed May 10 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Those actively managed ETFs would be the firm's first ETFs, a spokeswoman for the firm said Friday.
Ms. Rausch's last day at WisdomTree was May 17, the WisdomTree spokeswoman said. David Graichen has been promoted to head of capital markets in the U.S., she said.
AllianceBernstein had $685 billion in assets under management as of April 30, Thursday's release said.
