Alexia Gottschalch was named managing director and head of client strategy, global real assets, at Aegon Asset Management.
It is a new position, spokesman Bradley Dawson confirmed. Based in New York, Ms. Gottschalch reports to Scott Cote, Aegon's chief investment officer, real assets.
Ms. Gottschalch was previously managing director, head of outsourced CIO at Invesco. Invesco spokesman Matthew Chisum declined to comment.
As of June 30, Aegon had $408 billion in assets under management.
