Andy Moniz joined systematic money manager Acadian Asset Management as director of responsible investing, a spokeswoman said.
Mr. Moniz replaced Asha Mehta. Ms. Mehta joined Global Delta Capital in Boston as managing partner and CIO.
Mr. Moniz leads Acadian's global environmental, social and governance efforts and oversees its ESG strategies, related research initiatives and active ownership. He is also chairman of Acadian's responsible investing committee.

"Andy's wealth of experience with ESG strategies in quantitative finance and data science will be a tremendous asset as we continue to evolve our research efforts and expand our sustainable solutions in this important space."
Acadian has $107 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Moniz was director of applied data science investments at Putnam Investments. He was responsible for creating systematic ESG stock selection strategies. Putnam will continue to deepen capabilities in data science within its investments division and evaluate resources as needed moving forward, a spokesman said.
