Scott Richardson was named senior vice president and director, systematic credit, at Acadian Asset Management.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Based in London, Mr. Richardson will lead the manager's efforts to create its new systematic credit offering scheduled to launch later in 2023. He reports to Brendan Bradley, executive vice president and chief investment officer, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. Richardson was previously a professor of management practice in accounting at London Business School and was previously a senior adviser at AQR Capital Management. An AQR spokesman declined to comment.
As of March 31, Acadian Asset Management had $109.4 billion in assets under management.
