Vladimir Zdorovtsov was named director of global equity research at Acadian Asset Management.
Mr. Zdorovtsov will be responsible for leading Acadian's research team, as well as setting the strategic vision for the money manager's global equity research efforts, according to a news release Tuesday.
He will report to Brendan Bradley, executive vice president and chief investment officer, said spokeswoman Ciara Bartholomew. She could not immediately provide further information.
Mr. Zdorovtsov was previously a managing director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, confirmed Goldman Sachs spokesman Patrick J. Scanlan. Mr. Scanlan declined to comment further.
Acadian had $101 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
