Min Chow Sai was named head of investment research-real estate, Asia-Pacific with Aberdeen Standard Investments.
Mr. Sai replaces Milan Khatri. Mr. Khatri joined Phoenix Property Investors earlier this year as a director and head of research.
Mr. Sai was an executive director at Nomura Securities, responsible for Singapore and regional listed real estate investment research, according to an Aberdeen Standard news release.
Mr. Sai joins Aberdeen Standard amid an expansion of the firm's direct real estate business in the Asia-Pacific region this year, with its acquisition in February of Orion Partners, a real estate investment firm, and its establishment in June of a joint venture with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank to invest in residential real estate in Japan.
