Pascal Heberling and Leon Brujis joined 65 Equity Partners — a provider of partnership capital to family-owned and founder-led companies that is wholly owned by Singapore government investment firm Temasek — as partners.
Heberling, who is based in London, becomes co-head of Europe, joining Alex Stirling, also a partner, in managing the firm's business in Europe. He was a partner at BC Partners. BC Partners did not appoint a replacement for Heberling.
Brujis, based in New York, joins as head of East Coast and will work alongside Alexander Fraser, the firm's head of U.S., based in San Francisco.
Both positions are new, a spokesman for 65 Equity Partners said.
The spokesman said $1.5 billion of the firm's $3.3 billion in funds under management has been allocated to investments in Europe and the U.S., with the remainder invested in Asia.
65 Equity Partners focuses on providing "equity and structured capital solutions to established companies with regional or global aspirations, in Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States," according to a news release.
Chong Lee Tan, the firm's CEO, said in the news release the new hires will strengthen 65 Equity Partners at a moment when "we see a number of exciting opportunities across Europe and in the U.S. for family-led businesses seeking minority investments with a long term, supportive partner.
