Plymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for an active international growth equities manager to run between $6 million and $18 million, and an active international small-cap equities manager to run between $5 million and $12 million.
Proposals for the growth strategy should have a large-cap bias. Fiducient Advisors, investment consultant to the $215 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
Both searches are being conducted to comply with state regulations, said Wendy Cherry, director of the retirement system. Invesco is pension fund's current growth equity manager, and Acadian Asset Management runs the small-cap mandate. Both managers are invited to rebid.
The RFPs are available on Fiducient's website. Proposals for the growth strategy are due at 4 p.m. EDT May 11, while small-cap proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT May 18. Ms. Cherry said the board will likely interview finalists in June.
