Plymouth (Mass.) Retirement System is searching for a passive S&P 500 index manager to run $20 million to $30 million.
Fiducient Advisors, investment consultant to the $215 million defined benefit system, is assisting in the search.
The search is being conducted to comply with state regulations, said Wendy Cherry, retirement system director. RhumbLine Advisers is the current manager and is welcome to rebid.
The RFP is available on Fiducient's website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. EDT April 27. Ms. Cherry said she does not know when the board expects to make a decision.
