Kate Faraday, a managing director at PineBridge Investments, was named the money manager's global head of corporate responsibility.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Ms. Faraday reports to Gregory A. Ehret, CEO and executive director.
Ms. Faraday was previously head of client portfolio management, Americas equities, and portfolio manager for the research enhanced quantitative equities strategies at the firm.
Sheedsa Ali, head of quantitative equity, will now be sole portfolio manager of that team, the spokeswoman said. She did not provide further information on the head of client portfolio management role.
Ms. Faraday will continue in her roles as chairwoman of PineBridge's culture committee and member of the diversity and inclusion committee, and responsibility committee, the spokeswoman said.
PineBridge Investments has $126.3 billion in assets under management.
