Devvya Sharma was named Europe, the Middle East and Africa diversity and inclusion manager at Invesco, a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Sharma replaced Lindsay Hudson, effective March 8. Ms. Hudson joined Aegon Asset Management in January as head of inclusion and diversity.
Ms. Sharma is leading Invesco's diversity and inclusion strategy across the region, which is aimed at fostering a supportive corporate culture.
"Diversity and inclusion are hugely important to Invesco. We see a diverse team of people, that each think differently and offer a unique perspective, as being key to our future success. We are delighted to have someone with Devvya's experience on board," Anna Penn, head of diversity and inclusion, North America, said Monday in a news release.
Invesco has $1.39 trillion in assets under management.
Ms. Sharma joined from the CFA Institute where she was manager for external inclusion and diversity. A spokesman could not be reached to provide details of her replacement.
