Ohio State Teachers Retirement System, Columbus, committed up to $30 million to middle-market buyout fund Genstar Capital Partners X.
It is the $87.7 billion pension fund's first commitment to a fund managed by Genstar Capital, spokesman Nick Treneff said in an email.
As of Feb. 28, the actual allocation to private equity was 10.3%.
