Brad Coleman was named a partner at Hunter Point Capital, a spokesman for the alternative investment firm said in an email.
The position is new. Mr. Coleman will lead the firm's general partner coverage group, including managing prospective minority stake transactions and advising Hunter Point's GPs.
In addition, Ross Sarraf recently joined HPC as a vice president within its GP coverage group, and Scott Hamner was named a managing director within HPC's strategic value group. Both positions are new.
Mr. Sarraf will help Mr. Coleman advance his initiatives with the GP coverage group, while Mr. Hamner is responsible for developing and implementing strategic solutions for HPC's GPs, as well as capital formation and managing the firm's relationships with limited partners.
Founded in October by Bennett Goodman, co-founder of GSO Capital Partners, and Avi Kalichstein, former managing principal at Easterly Partners Group, Hunter Point Capital makes minority investments in middle-market alternative money managers.
Mr. Coleman was chairman of the global asset managers group at Citigroup. The position has not been filled and most likely won't be, said Sophia Anthony, a Citigroup spokeswoman. Ms. Anthony added that John Eydenberg and Anthony Diamandakis were named co-heads of the global asset management group in February 2020.
