David DeVos was named global head of ESG and Elena Alschuler was named U.S. head of sustainability at LaSalle Investment Management.
Both are new positions, spokesman Scott Sutton said in an email. Each expands upon and absorbs the prior responsibilities of Eric Duchon, previously global head of sustainability, who left in November to join Blackstone Group as global head of real estate ESG.
Mr. DeVos, who will be responsible for expanding the manager’s global environmental, social and governance efforts, reports to Tim Kessler, global chief operating officer. He was previously global director of sustainability at PGIM Real Estate, a PGIM Real Estate spokeswoman said. The firm will “continue to refine the structure of our ESG team,” the spokeswoman said.
Ms. Alschuler, who reports to Kristy Heuberger, head of U.S. asset management, previously led real estate activities at window manufacturer View Inc.
LaSalle Investment Management has more than $68 billion in assets under management.
