Lindsay Hudson was appointed head of inclusion and diversity at Aegon Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.
The role is new. Ms. Hudson will engage internally on inclusion and diversity issues and advocate for change externally, reporting to Jane Daniel, global chief risk and compliance officer. She will also become a member of the company's senior management group, working closely with the firm's management board.
"Ensuring we create a strategic and consistent approach to all inclusion and diversity initiatives will accelerate our efforts and also serve to boost and expand on the significant work of our inclusion and diversity teams to date," Ms. Daniel said in a news release Tuesday.
Aegon Asset Management had €364 billion ($409.4 billion) in assets under management as of June 30.
Ms. Hudson had been head of diversity and inclusion for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Invesco since 2018. Details of her replacement were not available.
