BlackRock managed $7.81 trillion in assets as of Sept. 30, up 6.7% from June 30 and up 12% from the same period the year prior, the company said Tuesday.
The money manager generated $128.7 billion in total net inflows in the third quarter, which included $37 billion of net inflows into its institutional business, vs. $84.2 billion in net inflows in the third quarter of 2019.
By asset class, 48% of BlackRock’s AUM was in equities; 33% fixed income, 8% each in cash and multiasset and 3% in alternatives.
BlackRock reported $4.4 billion in total revenue for the third quarter, up 19.8% from the second quarter and up 18.3% from the third quarter of 2019. Net income, meanwhile, was $1.4 billion, up 12.4% from the second quarter and up 22% from Sept. 30, 2019.
