Dutch pensions administration and OCIO firm MN's six-person emerging markets debt team and $4 billion in assets will transfer to NN Investment Partners this month, a spokesman for NN IP said.
The combined team will result in 25 investment professionals managing about $16 billion in assets, across emerging markets debt hard currency, local currency and emerging markets corporate debt strategies.
Marcin Adamczyk, head of emerging markets debt at NN IP, will continue to lead the combined team.
For existing MN clients, senior investment experts will remain unchanged, a joint news release said.
"In this scenario we can continue to offer competitive fees, tap in to the extensive EMD knowledge of NN IP, enhance our client servicing and increase continuity," said Hein Brans, director of asset management at MN, in the news release.
MN will remain responsible for monitoring and reporting on alternative investment fund managers directive-regulated strategies that consist of emerging markets debt allocations, the spokesman said.
NN IP manages €285 billion ($336.2 billion) in assets. MN manages more than €160 billion in assets on behalf of nine Dutch pension funds.
