Coral Springs (Fla.) Police Officers' Pension Fund committed $11 million to IFM Global Infrastructure Fund, an open-end fund managed by IFM Investors, said Gina Orlando, senior pension administrator, in an email.
The $214 million pension fund made the commitment following an asset allocation study earlier this year that resulted in the creation of a new 5% target to infrastructure.
Other changes were the increase of the target to real estate to 15% from 10% and the decrease of the target of domestic fixed income to 10% from 20%.
Further information regarding the changes could not be immediately learned.
The pension fund's other targets are 50% domestic equities, 15% international equities and 5% global macro allocation.
