North East Independent School District, San Antonio, is searching for a third-party administrator for its $19 million 457 plan and $15 million 401(a) plan.
The district is seeing proposals "to replace the district's existing plans," according to an RFP on the district's website.
According to the RFP the district hopes to select "one provider for all services and mutual funds for both plans with separate pricing by code type." National Benefits Services is the retirement plan administrator but the 401(a) plan is not included in its record-keeping agreement, and the district uses Morningstar as a third party to select and recommend mutual funds, the RFP said.
Further information on incumbents could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the school district's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Sept. 2. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
David Bohannon, executive director of procurement and e-commerce, could not be immediately reached for further information.
