University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, Burlington, committed up to $10 million to Varde Dislocation Fund for its $487 million endowment pool.
The university's investment subcommittee approved the commitment to the credit dislocation fund managed by Varde Capital at its May 12 meeting, recently released minutes show.
University spokesman Jeffrey Wakefield would not provide further information.
