Oregon Investment Council, Tigard, is searching for a general investment consultant.
The council is seeking an investment consultant to assist it in the oversight of the investment management of multiple funds it oversees, including the $72.7 billion Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, $4.6 billion State Accident Insurance Fund and $1.7 billion Common School Fund.
The current general consultant is Callan; whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The retirement fund's target allocation is 32.5% global public equities, 20% fixed income, 17.5% private equity, 15% alternative investments, 12.5% real estate and 2.5% risk parity.
The RFP is available on the state of Oregon's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at noon PDT on July 31. A selection is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 28.
