Vanessa Wang was named senior managing director and head of institutional group-USA at Amundi Pioneer, effective June 1.
She will report to Lisa Jones, CEO of Amundi Pioneer, a spokeswoman said.
She will take on the responsibilities of Joseph Carrabes, senior managing director and current head of the institutional business in the U.S. Mr. Carrabes will be taking on the new position of senior vice president, senior relationship manager and business development officer for the U.S. institutional group, also effective June 1. He will report to Ms. Wang.
Ms. Wang is currently managing director and head of institutional business, North Asia, at Amundi. Her responsibilities will be taken on by Sally Choo, who will become managing director, regional head of institutional business, Asia ex-China and ex-Japan. Ms. Choo is currently head of institutional sales for South Asia.
As of March 31, Amundi Pioneer had about $78 billion in assets under management.
