Hiroshi Kimura, Tokyo-based CEO and country manager at NN Investment Partners Japan, will retire May 1, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Keita Nambara, NN IP Japan's head of institutional sales, will succeed Mr. Kimura. He will also retain his institutional sales role, the spokeswoman said.
Mr. Kimura could not immediately be reached for comment.
Separately, Osamu Saito, director and executive officer, compliance, risk management, finance and human resources, has been promoted to senior managing director and executive officer in the Tokyo office, the spokeswoman added.
The Hague-headquartered money manager has €276.3 billion ($309.4 billion) in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
