Stanislaus County Employees' Retirement Association, Modesto, Calif., committed up to $20 million to Vista Foundation Fund IV.
The $2.3 billion pension fund closed the commitment to the buyout fund managed by Vista Equity Partners Management on Feb. 12, according to a memo from Stan Conwell, retirement investment officer, posted on its website.
As of Jan. 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 6.3%; the target is 6%.
Mr. Conwell could not be immediately reached for further information.
