Walton Street Capital closed its second real estate debt fund, Walton Street Real Estate Debt Fund II, at $1.52 billion, said Eric Mogentale, co-founder and managing principal in an email.
The new fund exceeded its $1.25 billion fundraising target.
Walton Street Real Estate Fund II is a value-added real estate debt fund in a diversified portfolio of higher yielding commercial debt investments.
Investors in the fund include the $17.6 billion Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, Little Rock, and the $11.9 billion Montana Board of Investment, Helena.
Walton Street closed its first real estate debt fund with $654 million in 2016.
